Founded in 2007 by Marc‑Antoine Seris, Canovia started with a bold vision: bring human consciousness to finance.
Early on, Marc‑Antoine recognized finance as a tool, not an end, and built Canovia to be sustainable at its core.

By 2020, Canovia had become Burgundy’s first certified Mission‑driven company.
A year later we achieved B Corp certification, joining a global movement of enterprises focused on being better for the world.

By 2024, Canovia expanded to North America with the opening of our branch; Canovia Canada Ltd.
Opening our Ottawa office underlines our commitment to serving clients across continents and fostering innovation in finance.

  • 2007 - the desire to make a difference

    After his experience in Switzerland Banks, Marc-Antoine Seris founds Canovia with a sustainable, human-centered approach.

  • 2007-2017, Canovia growing

    Over the next decade, Canovia took shape and grew steadily, driven by Marc-Antoine’s vision—supporting dozens of entrepreneurs in scaling their businesses to the next level.

  • 2017, Realization of a Shared Vision


    Nicolas Guérin joins Canovia, rising to Managing Director and Partner throughout the years. He takes charge of key accounts and team development, helping drive the company’s strategic growth alongside the founder.

  • 2020 - Mission-Driven company status

    After years of ESG commitment, Canovia becomes the first Mission-Driven Company in Burgundy. Its purpose: to act today to improve tomorrow by putting finance at the service of collective and environmental well-being.

  • 2020 - Join André Le Groupe – 360° Support

    Canovia joined André Le Groupe, the leading business services group in Burgundy. Together, they offer SME and mid-cap leaders a 360° tailored support model across finance, consulting, HR, and digital.

  • 2021 - B Corp Certification & Shared Governance

    Canovia becomes a certified B Corp, reinforcing its commitment to doing business for good. A new governance model is implemented, combining leadership with transparent oversight by a Mission Referent, Social Impact Council, and Board of Directors.

  • 2024 - A New Chapter in North-America

    Canovia opened its Canadian branch, Canovia Canada Ltd, in Ottawa, marking a new step in its international journey. This expansion reinforces our commitment to supporting entrepreneurs on both sides of the Atlantic with sustainable, people-driven finance.
